As part of the Absent Kelly Emerging showcase, St. Simeon and the Stylites will be gracing the stage of the 02 Academy in Islington on Friday the 16th of December.

    We -- St. Simeon and the Stylites -- are a band.

    We make noises with stringed and thumpable instruments. Variously and on different occasions these have included; Guitar, Bouzouki, Upright bass, Drums (various), Keys (organ,piano etc.) and on the odd special occasion a duo of fiddles! As for genre.. Oh Lordy.. think Art-rock.. with a big dash of jazz /funk, a sprinkle of trad, a smidge of rock and a final dousing of gibber-jabber Jamieolivered liberally all over the top.
