Biography.
St. Simeon and the Stylites took its initial forms in the wilderness of north-west Donegal, where Roger found like-minded musicians and a forum for his unique songwriting in small bars and at cosy festivals. Since then St. Simeon has embarked on a quixotic journey of music venues and festivals across Ireland. Together its members make noises with stringed and thump-able instruments along with slightly daft amateur videos. They do not know to which genre they belong. Labels - like Art-rock and Goblin-trad, jazz- have been thrown at them, but nothing has stuck yet. So they are also slightly bemused and uncomfortable talking about themselves in the third person... Despite this they bravely struggle through.
